In October 2016 we introduced on-screen versions of our Cambridge Secondary 1 Checkpoint tests in Science as an alternative to the paper-based versions. On-screen versions of Cambridge Secondary 1 Checkpoint tests in English will be introduced in May 2017.

Parkside Middle School in Prince William County School District, Virginia, USA became a Cambridge International School in 2013. After years of successful Cambridge implementation, Parkside has taken the next step in its Cambridge evolution by becoming a Cambridge Professional Development Centre, our first centre of this kind in the USA.

We held a number of principals’ networking events around the Gulf region in October, including in Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, Muscat, and – for the first time – Bahrain. Over 250 school leaders attended the forums from Cambridge schools and schools aspiring to work with Cambridge.

On Tuesday 15 November, we hosted our first ever Cambridge Principals Forum for schools in Denmark at the British Embassy in Copenhagen. We welcomed over 30 school leaders, representing both prospect and existing Cambridge schools from around Denmark.
