Online training

Our online training is flexible and easy to use. Accessible through our online learning area, exams officers can easily set up their own account to access interactive webinars and self-study modules on the Cambridge Exams Cycle. An essential resource as a new exams officer, and a useful refresher for more experienced exams officers.

Guidance documents

We produce administrative documentation to guide exams officers through the examination process.

You can download the latest Cambridge Handbook (PDF, 6MB). The handbook sets out all the regulations and processes for managing Cambridge exams. If you are a UK school, use the Cambridge Handbook (UK) (PDF, 1MB).

You also need the Cambridge Guide to Making Entries and final timetables. The guide tells you exactly how to enter candidates for our exams. The timetable details when each exam is timetabled in an exam series. They are both available on >Direct as they contain information that is specific to each administrative zone. You can also access timetables.

We also produce other extra guidance documents on various processes throughout the Cambridge Exams Cycle, and for administering syllabuses using Secure Exchange.
