At Cambridge, teachers are at the heart of everything we do. Every teacher has their own style in the classroom, and we offer a wide range of high-quality resources to suit different teaching methods and types of learning.
Alongside our own resources, we endorse resources from a range of other publishers that support the Cambridge Pathway and help schools to deliver our international programmes and qualifications. To increase choice and help meet the needs of our schools, many of our programmes and qualifications have more than one endorsed title.
Endorsed resources go through a detailed and independent quality assurance process. The process makes sure each resource closely reflects the syllabus or curriculum, and is accessible and appropriate for Cambridge schools around the world.
Endorsement means we are confident the resource will support teaching and learning of the Cambridge programme or qualification.
Resources are judged on the following criteria
Approach and content
The resources align with the level of demand in the syllabus and covers sufficient breadth and depth to promote effective teaching and learning.
Assessment
The resources focus on knowledge and skills, rather than on exam preparation, whilst making sure that any assessment focused elements of the resources are accurate and suitable for the syllabus.
International focus
That resources are accessible and appropriate for Cambridge schools worldwide and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
We have an open endorsement policy, and any publisher can submit resources for endorsement. The endorsement process is managed by the Publisher Relations team.
Endorsement of a resource does not mean it is the only suitable material available, that it is an official resource or that it is required to achieve the qualification.
We work closely with several publishers who receive early information of our new and revised programmes and qualifications so they can plan and develop resources to support them. We charge publishers a fee for reviewing their materials. Publishers who are interested in submitting materials for consideration should email us. Note: we only endorse resources from recognised publishers. Authors should only contact us through their publishers.
When our new and revised syllabuses publish in September, visit the syllabus page to find details of forthcoming endorsed resources to support them.
Resources that meet our endorsement criteria are listed on our website. To find endorsed resources for your subject, visit the following pages
