We are working closely with our Cambridge community of teachers, learners and schools to innovate digital exams.
Our learners are living and studying in a world where working digitally is part of their everyday lives. Digital exams have the potential to improve students’ assessment experience and unlock new opportunities by:
- reflecting more of the learning that is taking place in the classroom
- offering more varied question formats
- increasing accessibility and inclusivity
- improving audio/video assessment or components.
Our approach to assessment has always been evidence-based, and our digital exams build on this strong foundation. User experience and digital capabilities are at the core of our design and embedded into our assessment development process. Digital exams will be comparable to paper-based exams, designed to meet the needs of students and teachers, and continually improved through rigorous research, feedback and testing.
