Who are these workshops for?
Marking workshops are designed for teachers, with at least one year of teaching experience in the Cambridge syllabus or those who have attended an Introduction course, who want to understand what examiners are really looking for to help them focus classroom activities on the areas where learners need to improve.
If you are new to Cambridge or new to a specific qualification or programme, we recommend you attend our Introduction to professional development.
What will I learn?
During the workshop, you will:
- get familiar with the marking process by practising on a range of candidate scripts.
- understand how to apply the mark scheme consistently through standardisation activities.
- identify areas of uncertainty and improve your marking by reviewing examples and asking questions.
