Science Competition winners 2024
The judges have picked their winners for the first period of the 2024 Science Competition.
This year, we saw an incredible 111 Gold projects, representing 457 students from 57 schools and 27 countries in the first phase of the competition. Our expert panel of judges selected winners for Best in Region and Best in Country.
The science competition gives learners the chance to develop their passion for science and build practical skills that complement their academic studies. Students studying Cambridge IGCSEs and Cambridge O Levels work in small teams to conduct their own scientific investigation. They are asked to consider sustainability in their planning and investigate a topic of practical relevance to their school or community – helping students connect science to solving real-world problems.
