Australia is a key higher education destination for many Cambridge school leavers from around the world. As part of our work to make sure that Cambridge students can progress smoothly to Australian universities, we have established a Higher Education Advisory Council (HEAC) Australia. The Council is made up of universities from the Group of Eight (Go8) and Australian Technology Network (ATN).
The overarching aims for HEAC Australia are to:
- advise Cambridge on how best to achieve its mission of democratising access to higher education, including shaping the next generation of programmes, services and resources
- engage the Australian higher education community to enhance awareness of Cambridge and expand access to its programmes delivered both internationally and domestically
- contribute thought leadership in order to raise Cambridge’s profile among the Australian university enrolment management community.
