Our global community is made up of over 10 000 Cambridge schools in 160 countries, each delivering education that shapes learners’ knowledge, understanding and skills. We connect Cambridge educators, so they can share ideas, views, information and resources, and learn from one another.

We listen to and work closely with our community to bring together the collective knowledge of educators around the world. Learning from our diverse network of experts has shaped our deep understanding of best practice in international education.

Their insight helps us to continually improve, ensuring we can meet the needs of our schools, and deliver the best outcomes for learners together.

Nearly two million students in over 10 000 schools

With more than 160 years of experience in international assessment, Cambridge now serves nearly two million students annually. 

We actively support Cambridge schools and teachers, helping them achieve the best outcomes for their students. In turn, they give us invaluable feedback from a range of different perspectives – principal, teacher, student and parent – to make sure our qualifications remain relevant, world class, recognised and respected. We regularly review our syllabuses in consultation with schools and universities worldwide to ensure they meet their needs.

Professional and student learning communities

Through our professional learning communities we connect Cambridge educators – both online and face to face – so they can share views, information and resources, learning from each other.

With our regular professional development events, we bring experts and teachers together, providing opportunities to expand knowledge and pool experience. Through subject communities and discussion forums on the School Support Hub, teachers and students can collaborate with their counterparts in different parts of the world.

Local school communities

Our educator communities bring peers together around shared themes to exchange best practice, learn from one another and offer mutual support across areas such as school leadership, curriculum planning, professional development and classroom practice.

These local communities also offer practical support for schools that are new to Cambridge or going through change, for example, when introducing a new Cambridge programme.

We also support the use of social media to create a wider community where Cambridge teachers, exams officers, students and parents can share ideas and experiences. Our active blog features insights from education experts and Cambridge specialists.
