What is My Cambridge?
My Cambridge is a 'single sign-on' service, which allows you to access several services provided by Cambridge International Education and Cambridge University Press & Assessment using one set of login details. You can access the services via My Cambridge.
For Cambridge International Education, the services currently available via My Cambridge are:
- Submit for Assessment – upload and submit candidate marks and work. Use our samples database to check which syllabuses / components use this service.
- Global Listening – securely download confidential audio files for listening exams.
- Apply for Access Arrangements – request access arrangements for candidates, submit supporting evidence, and view the outcome of your application. Apply for Access Arrangements is currently available in a limited number of countries. If you have access to it, we have already emailed your exams officer with further information and guidance.
Accessing My Cambridge
Access to My Cambridge in centres is managed by exams officers – we give your exams officer the 'user management' role for My Cambridge when your centre first makes entries for a syllabus that uses a My Cambridge service. For example, entries for a syllabus that uses Submit for Assessment to submit marks and work to us.
This means exams officers can set up My Cambridge accounts for members of staff and manage which services they can access by following the instructions below.
If you are a teacher, your exams officer will be able to create a My Cambridge account for you and give you access to some services (this depends on which service(s) you want to access - see below for details).
Do not use the ‘Create account’ button on the My Cambridge homepage. You will not have any relevant user roles and you will not be able to access any of the Cambridge International Education services.
Managing your account
To manage your account, log in to My Cambridge. Click on 'Account' in the left-hand menu and select one of the options:
- Select 'Personal info' to edit your name, password or email address. You can add more than one email address to your account.
- If you want to be able to log in using Facebook or Google, select 'Connected accounts' and then click 'Connect' as relevant.
Managing users in your centre or your Associate centre(s)
Once you have logged into My Cambridge, if you have the user management role, you can set up My Cambridge accounts for members of staff in your centre and manage which services they can access.
If you are a Cambridge Associate, you can set up My Cambridge accounts for your Associate Centres and manage which services they can access.
Follow the instructions in our Managing users in My Cambridge guide (PDF, 783KB). If you have any questions, please contact us so we can support you.
Once logged in, users will see the My Cambridge home page with 'tiles' for each of the available services. If a 'tile' does not work, they may not have the permission to access that service.
User roles
These are the user roles you can set up for Cambridge International Education services.
- User management – this role allows users to create, edit, and delete My Cambridge accounts for your centre / your Associate Centre and manage access to available services. We assign this role to your exams officer. Your exams officer can then assign it to other people in your centre / Associate Centre.
- Submit for Assessment: Exams Officer and Submit for Assessment: Teacher – these roles can use Submit for Assessment.
- Access Arrangements Nominated User – this role can use Apply for Access Arrangements.
For Global Listening, you cannot give access to this service to anyone in your centre. Global Listening contains confidential exam materials – only your exams officer can access Global Listening.
