News & blog
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there is specific guidance for preparing for managing and running exams in your centre on our Information for schools about Coronavirus (Covid-19) pages.
When you make entries you may realise that some or all of your candidates need to take their timetabled exams at a venue that is not your registered centre.
This may be because you do not have facilities for all candidates to sit practical exams, or a room large enough for all candidates.
To ask to use a different venue, please complete Entries – Form 5 (PDF, 571KB). Make sure you follow the instructions on the form. Associate Centres should send the form to their Cambridge Associate. We may reject your application if we think the security of the exam will be at risk.
If we approve your application we will tell you how to conduct the exam. You must give this information to the exams officer at the alternative venue. If you do not do this it may be centre malpractice.
For more information on alternative venues see the Cambridge Handbook.
