Japan has become an emerging study destination for Cambridge students. This follows recent socio-economic and political developments around diversification in higher education destinations for Cambridge students, and the target set by the Japanese government, to increase the number of international students studying in Japan at undergraduate level. As part of our work to make sure Cambridge students can progress smoothly to Japanese universities, we have established a Higher Education Advisory Council (Japan).
The Council meets once a year, and regularly:
- advises Cambridge on issues relating to university recognition
- gives feedback on the development of Cambridge qualifications for entry to university
- helps increase understanding of Cambridge qualifications among the university community.
HEAC Japan membership
The Council currently has six members. Read their profiles to find out more about them and their institutions’ acceptance policies for Cambridge qualifications.
