We believe that education is key to tackling the climate crisis. Together with Cambridge schools, we can empower young people with the skills and knowledge to take action on climate change, helping them be ready for the world.
We are inviting educators, policymakers and thought leaders to get involved in our work on climate change education. We have just published a new introduction paper (PDF, 4MB) to share our views on how climate change education should be developed. We are calling on our global school community to get involved by telling us about their own experiences.
Our aligned approach across curriculum, assessment, teaching & learning and resources means that climate change education is being integrated throughout the Cambridge Pathway, reaching all stages of school curricula. For example, as part of our regular review process, we have updated Cambridge IGCSE™ Geography (0460) and Cambridge IGCSE™ Environmental Management (0680) syllabuses with relevant climate change content.
