Cambridge Assessment International Education has signed a new associate agreement with Emkan Education in Saudi Arabia.
The agreement, signed in March, will enable Emkan Education to register schools with Cambridge Assessment International Education and support these schools in offering our programmes.
It will improve professional practice among teachers and enhance student learning. This is in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which encourages partnerships between local and international organisations, and between public and private organisations, to contribute to education development in a sustainable manner.
Emkan is Cambridge’s second associate in Saudi Arabia, alongside the British Council. This move will support the development of Cambridge schools through the adoption of best practices and quality standards.
'The private school market is growing in the Kingdom and the need of local organisations that provide premium educational services for school improvement is crucial. We are therefore very happy with this collaboration with Cambridge,’ said Mounira Jamjoom, Chief Executive Officer of Emkan Education.
Waseem Al Hanbali, Cambridge Regional Director, Middle East & North Africa, said: 'We are delighted to work with Emkan Education and look forward to a fruitful cooperation to offer the best support and services to our schools in Saudi Arabia.'
