Participants at a Cambridge School Community meeting in Chennai are planning to organise joint events for students, such as sports, cultural and literature competitions. A number of schools offered to host these events in future.
Principals, teachers, exam coordinators and chairmen from a community of 25 Cambridge schools attended the meeting, which took place at Hindustan International School.
The meeting began with an update from Dilip Kottapadath, Manager, South India, on syllabus changes and new support resources from Cambridge. He also reminded participants that every year top universities across India welcome students with Cambridge qualifications.
Ms Bharathi Lakshmi, Principal of Hindustan International School, Chennai, said: 'We share common ambitions for our students. As a community we can work with all of our students to help them achieve their dreams in peace and harmony!'
