Enrichment Professional Development is a new type of training from Cambridge that is designed to transform classroom practice. The learning is focused on skills, understanding, concepts and ideas in teaching and learning, and teachers are encouraged to reflect on, and become more innovative in their teaching.
Our two-day Enrichment Workshops cover topics including:
- Active Learning and Assessment for Learning
- Inclusive Education
- Language Awareness
We are also offering a new four-day leadership workshop for new senior leaders from Cambridge schools, as well as those experienced middle leaders who aspire to senior leadership. Called ‘Developing your School with Cambridge’, this course introduces delegates to many of the key responsibilities of a school leader, with opportunities for networking, discussion and action planning.
Teachers in India took part in our first ever ‘Developing your School with Cambridge’ workshop in May 2016. On hosting the event, Prabhakaran Nair, Assistant Headmaster, at The Doon School, Dehradun said: "This workshop provided an excellent opportunity for heads of the school and senior teachers to come together and share their views and collaborate on a professional platform." One of the participants commented: “The overall experience was absolutely brilliant. The trainers were professional in handling such a diverse group of leaders."
We will be holding Enrichment Workshops in September, October, November and December in countries including India, UAE, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. We will also be holding a ‘Developing your School with Cambridge’ workshop ahead of the Cambridge Schools Conference in Kuala Lumpur in December, as well as a two-day Active Learning and Assessment for Learning workshop.
We’ll add more information and booking details to our training calendar soon.
