On Tuesday 15 November, we hosted our first ever Cambridge Principals Forum for schools in Denmark at the British Embassy in Copenhagen. We welcomed over 30 school leaders, representing both prospect and existing Cambridge schools from around Denmark. Representatives from our Cambridge Associate in Denmark - SKALs – who work with 45 Cambridge schools, also participated.
Martin Nuttall, Cambridge Regional Director for Europe, formally opened the event. The morning session provided delegates from institutions interested in becoming Cambridge schools an opportunity to hear from principals from an existing efterskole and a private school. Nick Mazur, Cambridge senior manager responsible for Northern Europe, introduced the audience to the Cambridge Primary and Secondary programmes.
The British Ambassador to Denmark, Dominic Schroeder (pictured), welcomed delegates attending the afternoon session. This was followed by presentations from Cambridge on new curriculum support resources, on-screen assessment and professional development qualifications.
The busy day concluded with a drinks and networking reception. Delegates were also able to view the latest books used to support teaching and learning of Cambridge programmes from our core publishers which were provided by Swedish book distributor, Witra Publishing.
