Cambridge International has formed a new Higher Education Advisory Council to help develop recognition of Cambridge qualifications in Australia. The Council includes representatives from top universities who will play an important advisory role to our Global Recognitions team and help open up more opportunities for Cambridge students.
The inaugural meeting of the Higher Education Advisory Council Australia took place on 13 October 2022 at the Monash Chancellery, Monash University. The building was designed to celebrate Monash University’s heritage, values and culture.
Senior admissions staff from leading Australian universities attended, as well as representatives from two tertiary admission centres (New South Wales and Victoria) and Presbyterian Ladies College – a Cambridge school in New South Wales.
Alicia Foo, Cambridge International’s Regional Manager for Higher Education in Southeast Asia & Pacific, said: “Australia is one of the most popular higher education destinations for Cambridge learners worldwide. The Council members are excited to be partnering with Cambridge to make quality higher education available to everyone who wants to participate in it through a policy of universal inclusion, and I am eager to engage with them to help more Cambridge students take the next step in their education in Australia.”
