As the take-up of Cambridge International qualifications in US continues to grow, the Palm Beach School District has held one of Cambridge’s largest-ever celebration of award winners.
Around 1000 people celebrated the achievements of Cambridge students at the event. Guests included the student award winners, members of the Cambridge team and school principals.
Speakers at the event included Keith Oswald, Deputy Supt of Palm Beach School District and John Barnhill, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management Florida State University.
Palm Beach County enters more students for Cambridge International AS & A Levels than for the equivalent American qualifications.
Palm Beach County’s television station – The Education Network – made a short film (pictured above) at the awards ceremony. Speaking to the Education Network, Don Meyers, Cambridge International Manager, Southeast USA said: 'Palm Beach County has been open to giving kids the opportunity to soar as high as they can.'
