The value of a British education in Spanish schools is on the increase, said Simon Manley CMG, British Ambassador to Spain, at a Principals Forum in May in Madrid.
He was talking to 35 school leaders from Spain and Portugal at our evening of 'Updates from Cambridge' at the British Embassy in Madrid, Spain.
Nick Mazur, Senior Manager, Iberia, Northern, Central Europe & the Baltics, updated delegates on new resources and syllabuses from Cambridge, and spoke about the recognition of Cambridge qualifications against a changing landscape in the UK and Spain.
Andrew Field, E-Learning Manager, then led an interactive session on the effective use of e-learning technologies in the classroom, in particular how certain apps and online tools can be used to enhance learning, encourage collaboration and improve presentation skills.
The event was an excellent opportunity for delegates to exchange ideas and meet Cambridge representatives. We look forward to organising another 'Update from Cambridge' next year.
