Cambridge O Level Commerce (7100) gives an introduction to the nature of commercial activities, how these activities are affected by changes in the commercial environment, and the impact they have on national and international consumers, producers, retailers and wholesalers. The syllabus builds a foundation for further study or employment.
The syllabus develops learners’:
- understanding of terminology, concepts, documentation, processes and trends in commerce
- skills to use written, visual and numerical data effectively
- awareness of innovations and digital technologies and how they impact commercial activities
- understanding of how topic areas such as supply chains, ethics and sustainability operate in a dynamic commercial environment.
