The US District of the Year Award recognises school districts that have consistently strong student performance in their schools and that continue to expand their offering of the Cambridge Pathway.
Congratulations to 2023-24 US District of the Year Award recipients
About the awards
Each year we honor three districts in the following segments: large districts with over 20,000 students enrolled in high school; medium districts with between 10,000-20,000 students enrolled in high school; and small districts with less than 10,000 students enrolled in high school.
Within each category, we recognize the districts that rank highest based on two criteria:
- Increasing access to rigorous Cambridge curriculum the past three years
- Exhibiting strong student performance on Cambridge exams; thus, demonstrating the district’s commitment to equity by providing access to excellence in education
