Digital accessibility

Here are some examples of the changes we are making to improve our digital accessibility standards:

• We embed accessibility checks and guidance as part of our standard workflows for both technical development and digital content.
• All new titles published from 2025 onwards will adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) to make our web content more accessible. This includes reviewing and improving all our platforms and content.
• We are designing all new digital exams by embedding the principles of Universal Design from scratch. This will ensure that our online exams are accessible.
• We are developing an AI tool to help us perform accessibility checks to all our digital platforms.

We work to global standards to make sure our websites and platforms are accessible for all our users.

Digital assessments

Our approach to assessment accessibility includes digital too. We have established a set of principles to make our future digital assessments as inclusive as possible. This means we try to make sure that we design assessments that can be taken by the greatest number of learners possible by building accessibility features into the platform.
