From voice commands that control smart plugs, to software that analyses medical data, to self-driving cars, technology is reshaping the way we live, work, and connect. This digital transformation isn’t just altering daily life—it’s reshaping education. The latest issue of Cambridge Outlook magazine delves into the impact of digital technology on teaching and learning, highlighting the ways Cambridge is supporting schools worldwide in preparing young people for an increasingly digital future.
A key focus of this issue is the launch of our digital exams for Cambridge IGCSE and International AS & A Levels, set to roll out in June 2026. The magazine provides an in-depth look at how Cambridge has been collaborating with early adopters to develop and test reliable, valid digital assessments. It also outlines the support available to schools as they introduce digital exams.
This issue of Outlook also addresses one of the most pressing topics in education today: AI. While it is clear that AI is set to play a significant role in future careers and society, Cambridge emphasises that the conversation should not be solely about AI itself. Instead, the focus should be on how human intelligence and AI can work together to enhance teaching and learning.
