Over 400 school leaders and teachers, representing more than 220 schools from 61 different countries are meeting at The Perse School in Cambridge this weekend for the Cambridge Schools Conference. The conference, a long-established event that takes place in person and at other times of year online, is an opportunity for members of the Cambridge community to share knowledge and discuss common challenges in education. More than half of delegates are attending for the first time.
This year’s theme, 'Effective communication: from competence to confidence,' will be explored through keynote presentations with subject experts, interactive workshops and breakout sessions.
The theme is also represented in a special issue of Cambridge Outlook magazine which you can read below. The magazine carries interviews with keynote speakers from the conference and additional articles that examine effective communication across education settings. If you have any feedback on the magazine, or suggestions for future content, please email us.
