Effective teachers don’t just try new things – they also reflect on whether they work. Find out how you can reflect on the impact you are making to improve your teaching and your students’ learning.
What will I learn?
During this course, you will explore the following key questions:
- How can individual teachers reflect on the impact of their teaching and learning?
- How can the bigger picture (at school or faculty level) help us in the classroom?
- How can measuring the progress of our learners effectively help us to develop and nurture high quality teaching and learning?
- How far (and in what ways) can numerical data help us to do this?
- What are the benefits and challenges of seeking to evaluate impact?
- How do we apply what we've learnt to develop classroom practice in our classrooms?
