You will have plenty of time to ask questions and share ideas.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for teachers at secondary or senior level, or school leaders who would like to develop their understanding in this area.
We recommend this course for teachers who are already familiar with the principles of Active Learning. Most will have already attended the Cambridge Active Learning and Assessment for Learning course, but this is not a pre-requisite.
This course complements the PDQ certificate in Teaching and Learning (6208) and the PDQ diploma in Teaching and Learning (6209).

In preparation for the course, please download the course materials to a laptop in advance - these are usually available 2 weeks before the course start date. To locate the materials, log in to the Professional Development Booking Portal, go to ‘My Bookings’ and click on the course – a link to download the materials will then appear.
Please ensure you bring the device with the downloaded materials with you to the course.

We offer a 10% early bird registration discount for this course if you book your place more than 28 days before the course start date. Registrations will close 7 days before the workshop starts.

Participants who attend at least 75% of this course will receive a certificate of participation.

Language
This course will be delivered in English. English language competence comparable to Level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is necessary to fully participate. We recommend a minimum requirement of 5.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Further information may be obtained through the Council of Europe website.
