Introduction courses are for teachers who are new to Cambridge or to a specific syllabus or programme.
What will I learn?
This course is designed to help you to get started with this Cambridge programme.
Under the guidance of an experienced Cambridge trainer, you will:
- become familiar with the Cambridge Primary or Lower Secondary curricula
- review the Curriculum Framework and understand the Learning Objectives
- explore the resources that are available to support teaching and how to use these in planning
- experience a range of teaching ideas and approaches, particularly for those content areas where additional support may be required
You will also have lots of opportunities to share ideas with other Cambridge teachers.
Who is this course for?
This course is for teachers who are new to Cambridge and have no prior experience of Cambridge programmes. If you are an experienced Cambridge teacher or have taught this programme for at least two years, we strongly recommend you attend one of our other courses instead.
You only need to attend an Introduction course once. So, if you have already attended this course, or the equivalent Introductory course previously, you do not need to attend again.
