Cambridge has recognised the success of Cambridge IGCSE and International AS & A Level students in Saudi Arabia with Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards. In total, 165 students across 64 schools in Saudi Arabia received awards at three ceremonies held in three provinces in the Kingdom in January 2024.
The ceremony in the Western Province was held at the Jeddah Prep and Grammar School; in Central Province, the ceremony was held at the British International School Riyadh; and in the Eastern Province at the British School Dhahran in Al-Khobar. Around 200 attendees joined us at each ceremony, including students, parents and teachers.
Raed Brahedni, Head of Business Development for the Middle East, Mira Hamati, Marketing & Communications Manager in MENA, and Haddy Ndure, Corporate Communications Manager, represented Cambridge at the events in Jeddah and Riyadh. At the ceremonies, Raed presented 202 awards to learners who excelled in the June 2023 Cambridge examination series, with some students winning multiple awards.
