Cambridge is delighted to announce the winners of the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards in Egypt. The awards celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of Cambridge IGCSE and International AS & A Level students in Egypt in the June and November 2023 Cambridge examination series.
In total, 117 learners have been recognised for exceptional performance in Cambridge examinations, including 31 awards for those who achieved the highest marks in the world and 37 awards for those who attained the highest marks in Egypt in a single subject.
Over 400 guests attended the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards ceremony in February 2024, including award winners, their parents and teachers. Ben Schmidt, Director, International Network for International Education at Cambridge, and Mark Howard, Spokesperson & Country Director of British Council presented 132 awards at the ceremony, with some students winning multiple awards.
'It's a great honour to participate in the ceremony and witness the remarkable achievements of Cambridge learners. A Cambridge education instils empowerment and responsibility in learners, encouraging them to pursue further enlightenment. I trust they will actively and positively contribute to shaping our world,' said Waseem Al Hanbali, Cambridge’s Regional Director for Middle East & North Africa.
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards programme celebrates the success of learners taking Cambridge examinations in over 40 countries around the world. Congratulations to all the winning students and their teachers for their hard work, dedication and success.
