Description: This presentation will cover some of the main affordances and challenges of using generative AI (genAI) in learning and assessment; such as offering opportunities for personalised learning and efficient marking, as well as potential biases, plagiarism, and what all this might mean for the future of human expertise and skills. Throughout the presentation, some of our recent and most relevant research in AI and learning will be shared and discussed. The presentation will conclude with recommendations on how the education community can actively participate in shaping the future of teaching and learning in the age of genAI.

Description: This online session will explore how Cambridge is supporting schools to navigate the use of AI in education. We will share examples of how teachers in our community perceive AI and how they are incorporating AI into their classrooms. We'll also fully introduce our new AI in Education guide for teachers and behind the scenes of how and why it was created. This session will offer practical tips on using AI to support teaching, such as creating engaging lesson starters and managing workload. We will also highlight other resources available and explain Cambridge's approach to AI as a tool to support educators.

Description: As teachers, it's important to help learners understand why and how the world around them is changing so that they have the confidence to make informed choices about the actions they take.

We know that many in the Cambridge community are just getting started with climate change education. In this session we will look at how the knowledge and skills we already teach in our classrooms contribute to the foundations of climate change education. We will also think about how we can build on those foundations to make climate change education more meaningful and impactful, whatever subject or age we teach.

In this session we explain how you can make the most out of teaching wellbeing with the Cambridge Wellbeing Check, the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary Wellbeing curriculum frameworks and their supporting resources.

In this session, we will explain how you can create a wellbeing framework for your class and the importance of considering oracy and resilience.

We will explore Cambridge's approach to inclusive education and accessibility, showcasing recent resources developed to support schools and teachers. There will be opportunities to consider learning needs, neurodiversity, cultural backgrounds, languages, and other aspects of identity. We will offer teachers lots of takeaways for fostering a sense of belonging in the classroom and practical approaches for creating an inclusive learning environment. We will also share ideas that you can use to encourage and support inclusive practices among your colleagues, helping to promote classrooms where all learners feel valued and supported.
