Sam Saini is the Associate Registrar and Director of the Undergraduate Admissions Office at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada.
In 2004, Sam graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from UBC and commenced his career in undergraduate admissions and student recruitment. During his tenure, Sam played a pivotal role in the institution's growth, overseeing the international admissions portfolio during the most significant period of enrolment expansion. He contributed to the development and iteration of important admissions policies for international secondary school curricula, successfully optimising enrolment numbers over this period.
Sam is also a council member of the British Columbia Council of Admissions and Transfer, overseeing the student mobility network amongst British Columbia post-secondary institutions and collaborating with other provincial leaders to drive innovation and promote best practices in admissions and transfer.
